Connect EasyPractice (clinic booking)

Let Neo find free times and book clients directly in EasyPractice during the call. Create an access token, paste it into Kaneo and test the connection.

If your clinic books through EasyPractice, you can connect it to Kaneo. Neo then finds a free time for the service you choose and books it directly in your calendar while the client is on the phone. The client is matched by phone number. If no client has that number, Neo creates a new one. It's free on every plan, and only an administrator can set it up.

You find it under Integrationer → EasyPractice ("Integrations → EasyPractice").

1. Create an access token in EasyPractice

Turn on the API app

Sign in to EasyPractice and go to Apps. Turn on the API app.

Create the token

Open API Settings. Under Personal Access Tokens, click Create New Token. Give it a name such as Kaneo, and choose these three scopes:

  • calendars-read, so Neo can see services and free times.
  • bookings-readwrite, so Neo can create the appointment.
  • clients-readwrite, so Neo can find the client or create a new one.

You can't change the scopes later. If one is missing, create a new token.

Copy the token

Copy the token right away. EasyPractice only shows it once.

2. Paste it into Kaneo

Paste the token into Integrationer → EasyPractice and click Forbind ("Connect"). Kaneo checks the token right away. If it's rejected, copy it again or create a new one.

3. Choose the service

Under Book i ("Book in"), choose the service Neo should book, for example First consultation. The list only shows services that are enabled for online booking. The length comes from the service in EasyPractice.

4. Test the connection

Click Test forbindelsen ("Test the connection"). The test reads your account, services and free times for the next 14 days. It doesn't create any appointments or clients.

What EasyPractice needs

Neo uses EasyPractice's own online booking to find free times, so your own rules apply, such as opening hours, breaks and buffer time after a service. Check two things in EasyPractice:

  • Online booking is turned on for the service.
  • The service is linked to a calendar with opening hours.

Neo doesn't ask for a CPR number and doesn't write in the journal. She only creates the appointment, and the client with name, phone number and email if the client gives one. The appointment gets the note "Booket over telefonen af Neo" ("Booked over the phone by Neo").

The access token is secret. Only paste it into Kaneo's EasyPractice card. If it leaks, delete it in EasyPractice under API Settings, create a new one and connect again.
